funfairs
funfairs are always fun places to go to. i decided to make the most out of the 2 SA 'campus rumpus' coupons given to me by ET and sacrificed precious time for catching up with tutorials and revision to check out the crowd at the home of the Saints.
i heard ex-SAJC-ians like stephanie sun was there. hhmm.. must've missed the opportunity to catch her in person. anyway, i splurged on food basically, mainly supporting my friends in SA. i heard there was a collusion between some of the stalls, which explains why the prices of food are so expensive. i don't fancy playing games so i hardly patronised them. i wanted to buy the SA t-shirt but sadly, i've been banned from buying any merchandise/school-related t-shirt because i have too many of such stuff. =(
JJ's 'love fiesta' was my next destination. thought i'll go visit since i hardly get a chance to see the school. to my surprise, the turn-out there was significantly less than SA's. and the crowd were mainly JJ people. well, funfairs do hint about the origin of friends of the college or its students...where they come from, etc. one thing i like about JJ is their cafe, which sells relatively good ice-blended coffee at abt $2-$3. couple that with cosy chairs and sweet titbits and pastries, it'll make a perfect study hangout. there's even a ice cream stall and also a shop selling clothes run by entrepreneurship club.
slacked after i return. jammed on the bass.
